Wife. Woah. Maybe the guy was older than he looked. "Well, Glenn, I'm Newt, and I'm gonna help ya look for her, don't get startled if a shucky lookin' brunet comes in here lookin' for me." Thomas was great at making friends, Newt knew that from witnessing his first day in the Glade. Of course, Newt found him endearing, for the most part. The blond knew about life throwing curveballs though through the glade, the maze, the cranks, WCKD... All of it... He was starting to wonder if it was really worth it anymore again.
Newt's mouth opened as he was getting ready to explain what he meant by torch but Glenn seemed to catch on quick, and he closed it without a word, simply offering the stranger a tired smile. "We can check in here, and if she ain't here we can look outside the ship, there are people out there too." The seventeen year old fell almost deathly quiet for a moment as he readjusted his backpack onto his back, not pleased with how heavy it was now. His flashlight made a click noise as he turned it on, shining it at one of the dead bodies on the ground, luckily it was a guy.
"Can I ask ya what you remember last? Before this?"
