"If you worry about the fate of all of us, then yes... but I've always preferred doing something about the situation, rather than spend time worrying for it," she says archly, looking him straight in the eye. She knows how she looks, knows how she feels, but she is a senator, a politician -- she refuses to sit idly by while others try to sort out the mess they're in.

"I think we all need help to get out of this," she sighs out, stepping carefully over a cut power line. "We should start by seeing how many of us are here, what supplies we have... where everyone was before this. Maybe we can see a common thread between all of that."
