In his experience, Terrans have one of two reactions to him. The first is like Quill's - annoyance at his limited vocal vocabulary, but generally unfazed. The second is terrified screaming, but he doesn't like to think about that one too much. Like just about everything else so far, that wide-eyed joyful awe is a new one. It's wonderful and warm and brings a smile to his face, but it's probably better to see if the terrified screaming is a delayed reaction.
