Yes. What typically shows up in lush forests still applies for this. It is up to player discretion what they have their character run into but there are definitely predatory animals besides coyotes in the forest. As for how much danger, that is up to the player, there may be future mod events with predatory animals but in general this is up to the player. Though it should be taken into consideration while the animals may be just as hungry as the infected, they've learned to avoid the infected and also are being over-hunted by the infected.
